Jolly Snowmen – Ned Taylor

jolly snowmen‘Five little snowmen, on a winters day, looked at one another and wondered what to play…’

What a wonderfully adventurous little wintery book this is! You can even have some counting fun with those jolly snowmen. The text is lovely rhyming sing-songing fun. We just loved getting caught up in all the snowy adventure, loosing one snowman each time.

Jolly Snowmen is a fantastically illustrated wintery counting tale full of rhyming fun. A perfect Christmassy tale to enjoy with the little folks in your life!

Bear and Hare (Snow) – Emily Gravett

bear & hareAnother great adventure tale with best-friends Bear and Hare. This particular tale is a lovely wintery adventure.

The two friends have the very best of fun together in the snow. There really isn’t too much text – so it is just perfect for twitchy little people who just can’t sit still for too long. The artwork is really really beautiful – which I always expect with an Emily Gravett book!

All in all this is a lovely little snowy tale featuring a great pair of friends. Not that much to it but it’s still sweet!
