My Review

I quite simply LOVED The Dreamsnatcher!! I’ve read it a few times but have never managed to get my thoughts down on paper….I told myself under no circumstances was I allowed to read the second book if I hadn’t reviewed the first. SO here we are…

Abi Elphinstone is a glorious writer who’s vivid imagination has rather beautifully brought a fierce young wild child to life in a lush world full of complexity and danger. I adored the characters each oozing with their own individuality and charm. Gypsy lore and all things nature are a big and very beautiful part of this tale and getting lost within its pages was a total pleasure.

Elphinstone opens the story in the thick of the action and the thrills and break-neck pace held throughout. The storyline follows our brave heroine Moll, who gets thrown into great danger when she discovers her true destiny. Moll and her wildcat must venture into the very darkest corners of a magical world full of danger and magic. I absolutely must have a wild cat of my own ‘Brrrooo’! Luckily an army of friends and family are at hand to help out on this quest as the journey is a very rocky one.

This is a debut that rocked my socks off…filled with suspense and devilish danger it keeps hold until the very end. With very subtle echos of Harry Potter – I couldn’t have asked for more. This is a series to watch and I really and truly cannot recommend it enough!

A BIG 5 Stars!!
