My Thoughts Ixchel

50 legendary goddesses all wrapped up in one beautiful hardback. This book is filled with info, a lot of which I was very interested in as it was new to me. There was a lot of information on the goddesses that I didn’t know, actually there were even some goddesses that I was meeting for the first time.

I was given the goddess Ixchel to spotlight and I’ll be honest…I had never heard of her. Now I love her, she is my new favourite goddess. Ixchel originates from Mayan and she is the moon goddess of creativity – how wonderful!? Ixchel also oversees water, fertility and fate – so she is a very important lady. She is a fierce protector of women and is the mother of reinvention and removing obstacles.

On every goddess page there is a little call on section – which I love. Ixchel’s is ‘Call on Ixchel when you want to clear your path and find another way.’

This book is a little treasure trove that I can’t wait to delve back into again to look at in more detail.
